Telling a story about food, or travel in general, is relatively easy. Simply regurgitate the taste, smell, sights and the rest of the sensory experience (won’t attempt to list down the five senses, as you might have more), and that’s pretty much it. Food, even to non-experts, is food. No one can argue about what you experienced. Kinunot at Kawnkita Restaurant (Donsol, Sorsogon)

We get real hungry after strenuous activities in seawater, like butanding (whale shark) watching. There’s no scientific basis for that, except that’s what I’ve noticed since childhood. Maybe that’s just be. Now, if we’ll be talking about food after all the swimming after whale sharks, I’d say there’s enough basis to say that the food at the Kawnkita Restaurant tastes good. Great View, Good Food at RSM Lutong Bahay Restaurant (Tagaytay)

We know Tagaytay as a place of great view, cool weather, laid-back lifestyle, and, of course, great food. There are so many choices of restaurants here and that profusion of choices could be confusing (and frustrating). The usual default mode, at least as far as we’re concerned, is to choose food that is tried and tested since childhood — lutong bahay.
