Top Philippine Destinations – 2008

Nominate your favorite Philippine destination for 2008.

Mt. Pulag, Benguet ProvinceThere’s so much to see about the Philippines. Beautiful beaches and dive sites. Great resorts and spas. Wonderful people. Exciting destinations. So little time.

Indeed, there’s just too little time to see everything (and maybe too little travel budget, which shrinks even more in times of economic crisis). And even if we have tons of money to spend on travel, it’s entirely possible that we’re going to miss one or two great travel destination/s. Besides, each one has different preferences and standards by which to judge a particular location or event. This kind of list is very subjective.

So what do we do? Let’s pool everyone’s opinion and see which Philippine destinations belong to the Top Ten. A “Philippine destination” is one that’s obviously found in the Philippines. It could be a beach, a resort, a spa, a city, a place, an event, or somewhere/something that could make you pack your bags and go to it.

Let’s do it this way –

First, let’s have your nominations through the comment section below. That’s very easy. Just scroll down to see the comment form. Make sure to indicate the name and location of the travel destination. It would be much better if you include a BRIEF description (for lengthy submissions, please read here to know how).

Second, let’s take the top 20 or so. We create a poll. Everyone votes. We then pick the Top Ten.  Simple, right?

Now, go ahead and start the ball rolling.

Pasok dapat ang Boracay sa list na to. Boracay remains one the best beaches in the Philippines, the world, even. No need for description for this world-reknowned tourist destination for Filipinos and foreigners alike.
