Sleepy in Bikini: Philippine Beach Travel Stories

Should we feature bikini photos? That’s our internal topic of debate over the entire weekend (feel free to weigh in through the comment section below). For one, a bikini is just another piece of clothing, common in a tropical country like the Philippines. Two, the Philippines has hundreds of beautiful beaches, many among the best in the world, and a bikini is a perfect wear on a sunny beach to get a good tan. Three, these Philippine travelers are comfortable with their bodies and we can’t act like prudes in this modern day. There other reasons, for or against, thrown in the ring, but the resolution is obviously to feature the bikini-inspired VisitPinas-tagged photos in Instagram. White Paradise in White Island, Camiguin

The island-province of Camiguin. It’s the second smallest Philippine province both in area and population, second only to Batanes (factor in the favorite pastime of some politicians,  gerrymandering, and we could be wrong). Yet this small island hosts a number of volcanoes; 7 volcanoes if we’re not mistaken. It’s practically a volcano island, come to think of it — dangerous by some standards, surprisingly beautiful by any other. Relax at Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin

Each resort has a particular characteristic that appeals to guests in general. Some resorts have it all, so to speak, from inhouse store outlets to numerous restaurants, like in Boracay Regency. Some resorts are huge. Some resorts are moderately-sized with sufficient cottages, like the Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin, but still give you more value for your vacation money.
