The Grapes of La Union (and the Model): Photo of the Day

“One sweet escape,” goes the photo caption by Erwin, a Kapuso engineer and an Adamsonian. We tried to ask for a bit of description for this photo, but we didn’t get any (yet), so we’ll use our Sherlock Holmes prowess. This one is in Bauang, La Union. In our previous post (Welcome to the Grapes Capital of the Philippines), we said that we didn’t realize grapes thrived in the Philippines since the early 1970s. The focus in the previous article are the grapes, this one on the person, most likely his significant other. The clue? Just check the next photo in Erwin’s account, with those smiles that can only mean one thing — they want a lovely pose, er, they’re in love (check his Instagram account, @erwinnavalle, for more photos). This only supports our view that travel is really not about the destination, but about emotions. Stay happy, guys! (And keep on snapping beautiful photos of the Philippines).
