Shout Out to Filipino Nurses All Over the World: 70th Emmy Awards Opening Monologue

Filipino nurses and practitioners in the medical field are found all over the world, so much so, that in the opening monologue of the 70th Emmy Awards, hosts Michael Che and Colin Jost called out Hollywood for not having any nurses in the hit show ER. “TV has always had a diversity problem. I mean, can you believe they did 15 seasons of ER without one Filipino nurse? Have you been to a hospital?” True, very true.
