On travel brochures and on maps we’ve seen in Camiguin, this white beach in Camiguin is called Magsaysay Island. After visiting the island, or when talking with residents and the boatmen, we got to know this white beach as Mantigue Island. This pricked our curiosity, more than the the puzzle of having a white island beside a black, volcanic island.
