It’s always a good idea to book our vacations way ahead of time. Tickets and accommodations are cheaper. More choices are available. So it’s a welcome news that Malacanang released the official list of regular holidays and special non-working days for 2013. The list is contained in Proclamation 459 (full text). The full list of 2013 holidays is found below:

February 25, 2013 (Monday) – EDSA Revolution Anniversary (for schools only)
March 28, 2013 – Maundy Thursday
March 29, 2013 – Good Friday
March 30, 2013 – Black Saturday (special non-working day)
April 9, 2013 (Tuesday) – Araw ng Kagitingan
May 1, 2013 (Wednesday) – Labor Day
June 12, 2013 (Wednesday) – Independence Day
August 9, 2013 – Eid’l Fitr (per Proclamation 629)
August 21, 2013 (Wednesday) – Ninoy Aquino Day (special non-working day)
August 26, 2013 (Last Monday of August) – National Heroes Day
October 15, 2013 (Tuesday) – Eidul Adha (per Proclamation 658)
October 28, 2013 (Monday) – Barangay and SK Elections (Proclamation 656)
November 1, 2013 (Friday) – All Saints Day (special non-working day)
November 2, 2013 (Saturday) – Additional special (non-working) day
November 30, 2013 (Saturday) – Bonifacio Day
December 24, 2013 (Tuesday) – Special non-working day
December 25, 2013 (Wednesday) – Christmas Day
December 30, 2013 (Monday) – Rizal Day
December 31, 2013 (Tuesday) – Last Day of the Year (special non-working day)
