Byahe Tayo

Huwag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan.” This is a line repeated to the point of being treated as a cliche. Still, we really have to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Philippines. There are 7,107 islands to visit and experience. Here’s a great video which should make us Filipinos proud of our country. Tara na, biyahe tayo! C’mon, let’s travel!

The Dream. One’s lifetime is too short to see all the splendor of the Philippines. It’s a dream to encourage Filipinos, the most number of Filipinos humanly possible, to see the beauty of the Philippines, either on a reduced cost or for free, then write about the travel for others to read about. It’s an ideal cycle that should perpetuate itself. There are a number of ideas being toyed around and, hopefully, these ideas will become realities through this blog or somewhere else.

To Help. It’s very simple, really. Tell everyone about the beauty of the 7,107 islands collectively called the Philippines. Talk about the Philippine vacation spot you’ve recently visited, or any tourist spots, attractions or resorts that you’ve been to. Be proud about the natural beauty of Pilipinas. It is not a perfect country and we are far from being a perfect people. Our imperfections, however, should not hinder us from being thankful of — and enjoying — the perfect beauty loaned to us by a Higher Being. Feel free to link or point to this site.

(These words appear at the end of the video: “The performers who appear in this video are members of the Artists for Philippine Tourism and provided their talents and likeness, without remuneration, in support of Philippine tourism. On behalf of every Filipino, we invite you to come and see the cultures, attractions and sights that make up our 7,107 islands.” We don’t know if this is copyrighted, but we hope it’s not because it should definitely be shared with the rest of the world. If it’s copyrighted and you own the copyright, please let us know so we could take out this video.)
