Loboc Children Choir for Bohol Earthquake Recovery

A Prayer for the Philippines: A Touching Video for Bohol Earthquake and Yolanda Super Typhoon

The Philippines celebrates the longest Christmas season in the whole world, yet this year’s Christmas celebrations are visibly toned down. The Philippines received a[n] [un]fair share of natural calamities this year 2013. The recent earthquake with epicenter at Bohol and Typhoon Yolanda caused terrible damage and loss of lives. These unfortunate incidents showcased another Filipino trait, in addition to hospitality and love of music known around the world — resiliency. As the country and the international community unite to provide relief to the affected families, a group of musicians joined voices for this heartwarming rendition of “The Prayer”. Here’s the full video, courtesy of Universal Records. Babangon ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang Pilipino. Watch and share:

  1. I cried while watching this video. Great job, tho much better if they only showed the choir and not the commercial singers.

  2. Boholanos are God-fearing and hardworking people. They’ve gone through worse. Bohol will come out better.
